Every page in this section prices a government or bank post from its published pay level or scale — the 7th CPC matrix with DA at 60% from January 2026, or the 12th Bipartite Settlement for banks with DA at 27.83% — and computes gross and in-hand pay for X, Y and Z cities with the deductions shown line by line. Nothing is quoted from forums or job boards. The table gives the headline figure; each page has the full structure, allowances, promotion ladder and how to join.

How to read these pages
In-hand means what reaches the bank after the employee’s NPS contribution, CGHS where it applies and a typical ₹200 professional tax; it excludes post-specific allowances such as running allowance, ration money or risk allowance unless the page says otherwise, and it excludes the government’s own 14% NPS contribution, which is retirement money rather than pay. X cities are Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune and Ahmedabad. For a private-sector CTC, the LPA to in-hand page and the salary calculator do the same job.
The 8th Central Pay Commission was constituted by notification on 3 November 2025 under Justice Ranjana Prakash Desai, with an 18-month mandate; its report is expected around mid-2027 and revised pay is conventionally effective from 1 January 2026 with arrears. Nothing on this page changes until that report is accepted — the fitment factor and new matrix are not yet decided, whatever a “8th CPC salary” headline claims.
