Every GST rate page on TaxGamma is written by the TaxGamma editorial team and then reviewed by CA Amit Tripathi before publication. The review covers the parts of a rate page that carry real consequences if they are wrong.
- The headline rate for each category, and whether it reflects the current position after the GST 2.0 changes of 22 September 2025.
- The HSN or SAC classification, since the code decides the rate and a wrong code is the most common error on rate pages.
- Input tax credit treatment, including the Section 17(5) blocks that catch businesses out on cars, construction and own-use property.
- Worked examples and calculator logic, checked arithmetically rather than assumed.
- Exemptions and conditional rates, where the condition matters as much as the number.
